UPSC NDA II Final Result 2026: Uttar Pradesh’s Parth Kumar Tiwari secures top rank in National Defence Academy exam

The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC NDA II Final Result 2026, with Parth Kumar Tiwari securing the top rank in the National Defence Academy examination.

A total of 742 candidates have qualified in the written examination conducted by the UPSC on September 14, 2025, along with the subsequent Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews held by the Ministry of Defence. These candidates have been selected for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy for the 156th Course, as well as the Naval Academy for the 118th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). Of the 742 successful candidates, 651 are men and 91 are women.

Meanwhile, the PUC-2 pass percentage in Karnataka stands at 81.58 per cent.

Parth, a Class 12 student from Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh, has secured All India Rank 1 in the examination. He completed his schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya before joining the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun, according to a Live Hindustan report. His father is a teacher at a Sainik School, while his mother is a private school teacher.

Born in 2009, Parth completed his early schooling in Karnataka’s Kodagu district. A key turning point in his journey came when he was selected for the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun while in Class 8.

Speaking to Live Hindustan, his father said that after completing Class 12 in Dehradun, Parth will undergo training at the NDA in Pune while pursuing his graduation, and will later return to Dehradun for a year to continue his training.

The UPSC NDA final results were declared on April 8, 2026, and candidates’ marks will be made available on the official website 15 days after the announcement.
